MLP prepared teams of high school teachers to support the academic and socioemotional needs of Multilingual Learners, one of the country’s fastest growing groups of students. This US Department of Education Title III Professional Development Grant was a collaboration between The City College of New York and New Visions for Public Schools. The program aimed to support the literacy development and academic achievement of Multilingual Learners across content areas by providing coursework and intensive coaching that lead to NYS TESOL certification. (2016-2022)
